Jeffrey K. Cohen, MD - ChemImage Board of Directors
Dr. Jeffrey K. Cohen is President of the Triangle Urological Group in Pittsburgh, PA, and also serves as Director of the Division of Urology at Allegheny General Hospital and associate professor of surgery at Drexel University/Allegheny General Hospital.
James S. McGlone, President
Mr. Jim McGlone joined ChemImage as President in 2008. Prior to joining ChemImage, McGlone was President of Galil Medical where he drove the expansion of Galil’s cryotherapy business. McGlone was also the President of Oncura which was a joint venture between General Electric (NYSE:GE) and Galil Medical, Ltd. Prior to joining Galil Medical, McGlone spent fourteen years in various sales and management roles with Siemens Medical Systems Inc., a subsidiary of Siemens AG (NYSE:SI).
John Belechak, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. John Belechak is the Chief Operating Officer and has been with ChemImage Corporation since 1998. Throughout his career with ChemImage, Mr. Belechak has served at the Director level within Finance, Operations and Human Resources. He was recently promoted to Chief Operating Officer in October 2007.
Patrick Treado, Ph.D - Founder, CTO, Chief Scientist
Dr. Patrick Treado is the Founder of ChemImage Corporation. Since 2004, he has served as the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Scientist of ChemImage. Dr. Treado is an analytical spectroscopist and recognized leader who has pioneered the field of chemical imaging.
John Maier, Ph.D, MD - Vice President Biomedical Research
Dr. John Maier joined the ChemImage Corporation in 2002 as a Senior Biomedical Scientist and is the operational leader of the biomedical applications group. Dr. Maier’s focus is working with our biomedical applications group in exploring and developing applications which will ultimately impact clinical medicine.
Thomas Voigt, Ph.D - Executive Vice President
Dr. Thomas C. Voigt joined ChemImage Corporation in 2003 as Executive Vice President. Dr. Voigt’s focus is the establishment of a worldwide business for four customer groups: Bio-Medical Solutions, Pharmaceutical Industry, Forensics and Biothreat & Chemical Detection.
Matthew Nelson, Ph.D - Director of Applications & Science
Dr. Matthew P. Nelson is currently the Director of Applications & Science at ChemImage Corporation. Dr. Nelson received his Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina in 1998. His research involved developing novel optical systems for molecular spectroscopic applications.
David Tuschel - Director of Product & Applications Development
Mr. David Tuschel has been responsible for product and applications development since 2006. The responsibilities of this directorship involve the investigation and characterization of components and experimental configurations that will improve current hyperspectral imaging modalities or develop new imaging techniques that provide ChemImage customers with unique Chemical Imaging capabilities.
Charles Gardner, Ph.D - Senior Project Manager
Since 2001, Dr. Charles Gardner has held the position of Senior Project Manager at ChemImage Corporation. In this position, he has led the development of several laboratory and field-transportable spectroscopic instruments for chemical and biological agent detection and for the examination of forensic evidence.
Jeffrey Beckstead, Ph.D - IT Systems Development Manager
Dr. Jeffrey Beckstead is currently in charge of the management of the software development group, project management, and research and development of hyperspectral imaging platforms combining visible, fluorescence and Raman spectral imaging with concentration on automated acquisition, analysis and decision making.
Arjun Bangalore, Ph.D - Senior Scientist
Arjun S. Bangalore is a Senior Scientist that has been with ChemImage Corporation since 1998. Arjun works in the Commercial Competence Center division, performing research and development. His responsibilities include R&D, evaluation and troubleshooting of components, development of application solutions including customized software and prototyping analysis software.
Janice Panza, Ph.D - Senior Scientist
Dr. Janice Panza joined ChemImage in August 2005. She is a Senior Applications Scientist specializing in biomedical applications at ChemImage. Her primary role is to perform biomedical spectroscopy and imaging in order to advance ChemImage’s technology into the medical diagnostic field.
Shona Stewart, Ph.D - Senior Scientist
Dr. Shona Stewart joined the biomedical team at ChemImage Corporation in October 2002. In her capacity as a senior scientist, her principle role is to develop ChemImage’s spectroscopy and Chemical Imaging technology for application within the biomedical community.
Oksana Klueva, Ph.D - Senior Scientist
Dr. Oksana Klueva started at ChemImage Corporation in 2004 as a Senior Scientist. Dr. Klueva Originally worked on commercial applications and lab services, with particular interest in characterization of nasal sprays. Currently Dr. Klueva is supporting spectroscopy and imaging analysis of a key government project on ambient particulates for Air Quality and Biothreat applications.
Oksana Olkhovyk, Ph.D - Senior Scientist
Dr. Olkhovyk joined ChemImage Corporation in 2006 as a Senior Scientist. Her graduate research concerned investigating structural and chemical properties of chemically modified nanoporous materials.
Shouping Tang, Ph.D - Senior Scientist
Dr. Tang joined ChemImage Corporation in 2007 as a Senior Scientist. Dr. Tang’s work includes applying and implementing novel approaches to the improvement of ChemImage LCTF technology for Raman, Fluorescence, and Near Infrared chemical imaging applications.
