Senior Scientist
Dr. Olkhovyk joined ChemImage Corporation in 2006 as a Senior Scientist. Her graduate research concerned investigating structural and chemical properties of chemically modified nanoporous materials. Ms. Olkhovyk published 14 scientific papers, delivered 5 oral presentations at International conferences and co-authored a book chapter. The core competences and expertise of Dr. Olkhovyk in materials science and nanotechnology is aimed to support and advance innovative research, development and application of chemical imaging science, technology and instrumentation.
Dr. Olkhovyk received her M.S. degree with honors in Chemical Engineering from Lviv Polytechnic University, Ukraine, in 2000 and PhD in Physical Chemistry from Kent State University in 2007. Her PhD research and academic achievements at Kent State University were awarded with Kent State University Fellowship, SPIE Educational Scholarship in Optical Science and Engineering, Newport Spectra-Physics Research Excellence Award, Graduate Student Senate Research achievement award, and Outstanding Academic Achievement Certificate from the Honor Society for International Scholars at Kent State University.
