The Johnstown, PA Chemical Imaging laboratory and administrative office is an 1100 square feet facility located at 1407 Eisenhower Boulevard.
The Johnstown location was established to assist with the Raman Chemical Imaging Biothreat Database program operated through the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP). The program relies on the Johnstown office to build an extensive database of biological and chemical entries.
Johnstown is in close proximity to Pittsburgh, allowing efficient support for the development and analytical services originating at the ChemImage corporate office. The laboratory equipment consists of a FALCON TM microscope, a CONDORTM macroscope and an EAGLETM transportable microscope system. ChemImage Johnstown has built mutually beneficial relationships with local universities.
ChemImage Johnstown provides internships for students from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, St. Francis University, and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
