Chemical Imaging Laboratory, Main Headquarters, Pittsburgh PA
ChemImage maintains a 14,000 sq. ft. facility with approximately 3,000 sq. ft of research laboratory space in Pittsburgh, PA.

The Applications Laboratory houses various spectroscopic and imaging instruments that support analytical techniques such as absorption, emission, reflectance, light microscopy, scanned electron microscopy, macro inspection, micro inspection, and remote inspection.  The wet laboratory is equipped with a sink, water purification system, two chemical hoods and ancillary equipment.

The sample preparation laboratory includes resources dedicated to forensics, microparticle and trace material handling.  The laboratory also consists of a commercial competence center. Together with our software development group, we are developing and providing solutions for chemical and biological applications for many global industries.

Training Center
Our customers go through comprehensive training using our imaging technology, ensuring that they understand how to best acquire and analyze information for their chemical and biomedical analytical applications.

The ChemImage training center includes ChemImage hardware systems and PCs with the ChemImage-designed software used to control the systems. ChemImage Application Scientists design, facilitate and manage each training session to ensure that customers understand and can easily use our systems when they return to their site.

Fabrication and System Manufacturing Facilities
ChemImage maintains an on-site machine shop to fabricate parts for the systems it manufactures. This shop is substantially equipped and staffed with a senior design engineer and opto-mechanical specialists group. Our facilities also include system-manufacturing facilities to build and test the systems we design.

Industry Solutions

ChemImage high-speed, automated hyperspectral imaging solutions combine sophisticated spatial imaging with wide-field Raman spectroscopy, fluorescence, absorption and other trusted modalities to reveal subtleties not obtainable through other techniques.
