Beckstead, Jeffrey, Ph.D. - Director of Product Development
Dr. Jeffrey Beckstead joined ChemImage in December of 2005. His primary role is directing the product development of ChemImage’s next generation of hyperspectral imaging commercial products that combine visible, fluorescence and Raman spectral imaging. This development will focus on improved performance and automated acquisition, analysis and decision making functions.
Dr. Beckstead received his Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Wisconsin and he hold a B.A. in Physics and Computer Science from Lycoming College. |

Gardner, Charles, Ph.D - Program Manager
Dr. Charles Gardner joined ChemImage Corporation in 2001 as a Program Manager. In this position, he led the development of several laboratory and field-transportable spectroscopic instruments for chemical and biological agent detection and for the examination of forensic evidence. Dr. Gardner oversees the design engineering and manufacturing functions at ChemImage. This includes mechanical design, product development, and system assembly as well as software development and maintenance.
