ChemImage Corporation, is developing reagentless biological threat detection technology with government sponsorship. Chemical imaging combines molecular spectroscopy and digital imaging and has been demonstrated to be a candidate technology for rapid, reagentless presumptive identification of chemical, biological and explosive (CBE) threats in complex matrices.
