ChemImage Corporation Awarded the 2014 Tibbetts Award for Excellence in Technological Innovation and Impact

ChemImage Corporation has been awarded the prestigious Tibbetts Award for excellence in Innovation by the U.S government and the Small Business Administration. ChemImage's receipt of the Tibbetts Award was a result of its activities focused on the development of hyperspectral imaging sensors, software and instrumentation for chemical and biological applications in numerous global industries, including forensics, threat detection, pharmaceuticals and anatomic pathology.

Each year the Small Business Administration (SBA) presents the prestigious Tibbetts Awards to recognize those individuals or organizations that made a visible technological impact in society and exemplify the very best in federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant achievements. Award winners are selected based on the economic impact of their technological innovation, and the extent to which that innovation serves federal R&D needs, has encouraged diverse participation, and increased the commercialization of federal research. Receipt of the award places ChemImage in an elite class of innovative companies and recognizes the corporation's significant contributions to the marketplace.
